Harriet Weaver is a writer, producer, director, and actor, educated at Yale University.
Harriet is based in LA, where she writes poetry and fiction, and produces and directs short films. As of Feb 2019 she is revising a YA novel. In September 2019 she completed a UCLA Extension Writer's Program workshop in Poetry under Laurel Ann Bogen, and held a first-ever reading of her work at Beyond Baroque.
As an actress in theater and film, Harriet appeared in Yale Rep's production of Hamlet starring Paul Giamatti, Stella's Last Weekend starring Nat and Alex Wolff, Mary Go Nowhere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and The Christians at Playwrights Horizons. At Yale, she earned a degree in Theater Studies with Distinction while starring in 13 undergraduate productions, and attended Circle in the Square Theatre School's summer program. She also studied in New York under master acting teacher and legendary theater director Wynn Handman.
