Finally, a great interview with playwright Julie Shavers via Broadway World.
Also, I have completed a short film to be shot this July before I go! And have made huge strides with my singing - I have been studying with master teacher Bruce Eckstut.
Dream come true to announce I'm headed to Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August, to perform in the world premiere of Julie Shavers' play Mary Go Nowhere! There is such a talented group involved and it will be so fun to be a part of the festival! Stay tuned for LA previews in late July.
Just came back from shooting Stella's Last Weekend in NYC, written and directed by Polly Draper and starring Nat and Alex Wolff! See production stills in the gallery here.
I've also been cast in a short produced by Flower Films to shoot in June.
And, a scene I shot last month is available here.
Very busy season with working toward SAG eligibility. I also completed writing my very own 12-page short, which I am currently producing, and will act in next month.
A Midsummer Night's Dream had its cast and crew screening. I finished my 201 class at UCB; the class show will happen on April 1st at UCB Franklin.
Finally, I can be seen dancing in this music video for Hidden Valley Ranch.
I started my continuing 201 improv class at Upright Citizens Brigade. I began writing a short film for future production. And I completed a new 2017 reel, see below:
This season, I participated in a wonderful reading of a new Shem Bitterman play, Stranger Danger, directed by Steve Zuckerman, at the Skylight Theatre.
I also signed with 126 Management! Very excited with my career going ahead.
Have a wonderful holiday!
I completed a scene that I wrote and edited myself! It stars me and actress Alana Samuels. I am very proud of the work that went into this and hopeful that it will be the first of many wonderful creative learning experiences.
I began my summer class at Andrew Wood Acting Studio, to finish this September. I also began improv class at Upright Citizens Brigade, and performed in an improv show at the Nerdist!
I wrote and produced my own material for the first time! it was incredibly fulfilling and useful to act in my own production. Look out for my scene coming soon...
Finally I shot a horror short, Lamia's Devotion, created by some of the folks from the LA Haunted Hayride. It was one of the most fun and loving shoots of my life. I hope to continue these fruitful collaborations more and more! Production photos here.
